Following hearing sessions conducted by an independent planning inspector in May 2019, Mansfield District Council is consulting on a series of proposed modifications to the emerging Local Plan.
The Local Plan will guide where and how new homes, shops, offices and factories are provided in the district in the period up to 2033.
These modifications respond to the issues raised by members of the public and others and will make the Local Plan legally compliant and sound.
The consultation is only seeking comments on the proposed modifications and supporting documents; comments on other parts of the Local Plan or issues previously not raised should not be submitted.
Issues that have previously been raised should also not be submitted as the Inspector is considering these comments.
Consultation on the Main Modifications runs from Tuesday 29 October to Tuesday 9 December.
