Garden Waste Update 26 August 2021

Due to pressure on our services, we are sorry to inform you that we are unable to collect garden waste today.

We are using all means at our immediate disposal, including the use of temporary staff, to maintain waste collections in the face of these current COVID-19 challenges and in a way that prioritises the collections of domestic, clinical and recyclable waste. Unfortunately, despite these contingency measures, gaps in the service have been unavoidable. We are striving to resume a full service as soon as we possibly can.

Residents affected are asked to present their bin on Saturday 29 August by 6am and it will be collected. Please park considerately so the wagon can access your street, and please share this information with neighbours on your street to ensure their bins are also presented.

Alternatively, you can take any excess garden waste to your local recycling centre. Find your nearest one here: https://www.nottinghamshire.gov.uk/waste-and-recycling/recycling-centres/details

As per the service’s terms and conditions, we are not able to offer a part-refund for any missed collections. We apologise for any inconvenience.

If you haven’t already, please sign up for bin collection reminders at www.mansfield.gov.uk/signup

We apologise for the disruption to your garden waste collections.
