Gypsy and Traveller Site Allocations Development Plan Document (DPD)

Options Development Plan Document (DPD) consultation

The consultation is now closed. The public consultation on the Options DPD, and the associated Sustainability Appraisal (SA), ran for an 8 week period from 19 July to 13 September 2019.

The consultation included 15 site options to be considered for the 4 site allocations required. There were a number of site specific and generic consultation questions to answer, set out in the Consultation Summary Document.

Due to the nature of some comments received by the council the decision has been made to remove all comments from public view. Summaries of the key planning issues raised throughout the consultation period will be made available in due course.

This was the second formal stage of consultation (still under Regulation 18 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012). The responses received as part of the consultation will be taken into consideration in the next stage of the DPD process.
