This Mansfield Community Hub page has been created to provide information for residents about support that is available across the district.
If you are staying at home due to COVID-19 and need food, try to book a food delivery from a supermarket or local business or ask family, friends or neighbours to deliver supplies to your door.
NHS Volunteer Responders can help with shopping and medicines delivery, as well as regular, friendly phone calls, and transport to and from health appointments. Check if you are eligible by visiting the NHS Volunteer Responder website (opens in new window) and call 0808 196 3646 between 8am and 8pm to arrange support.
If you live in Mansfield district and don’t have anyone who can help you get food, please call us on 01623 463463.
If you need any other support (not food) due to COVID-19, please contact Nottinghamshire County Council on 0300 500 8080 during office hours. You can also find information on the county council's website (opens in new window). If you require urgent assistance outside of office hours, please phone the Police on 101.
For details of the general food support available in Mansfield district, visit our food support page.
We have gathered offers of help and put it in one place to signpost you to community groups and businesses that can assist you day-to-day.
We are working with Mansfield CVS to provide help where it is needed the most, please follow their website for additional information. Council employees will be redeployed as needed to support residents the best we can.
We are also aware of safeguarding issues for vulnerable people and advise those who are receiving services to not pass on sensitive financial information such as bank details or a payment card. Deliveries should be left on your doorstep and always follow the government guidelines on hygiene.
The government has published guidance, Coronavirus: How to help safely (opens in new window), to enable people across the UK people to safely provide essential support to their friends and family who are in isolation.
