Community Safety Officers

Community Safety Officers cover every part of Mansfield, Mansfield Woodhouse and Warsop. The officers provide residents, schools and businesses with a contact point for concerns about environmental crime and antisocial behaviour (ASB). They work six days a week, Monday to Saturday from 8am to 10pm, and are part of the police safer neighbourhood teams.

Our Community Safety Officers deal with:

  • littering
  • fly-tipping
  • animal fouling
  • graffiti
  • selling and repairing vehicles at the roadside
  • problem vehicles (including abandoned and untaxed vehicles)
  • smoking in a smoke-free place
  • fly-posting
  • duty of care issues
  • reports of antisocial behaviour (ASB).
