Sense and Sensibility

Sunday 18 March
Time: 7pm

Join Chapterhouse Theatre Company for an evening of Regency wonderment, as Elinor and Marianne Dashwood make their first forays into the excitingly decadent world of eighteenth-century society.

This brand new adaptation of Jane Austen’s lively tale, directed by Rebecca Gadsby, follows the sisters as they fall in love, make mistakes and experience heartbreak for the first time in their quest to find a balance between sense and sensibility.

Scripted by exciting young writer Laura Turner, whose recent work includes the BBC’s EastEnders: E20, this brand new adaptation of one of the nation’s favourite classic novels is sure to delight and entertain young and old alike. Alive with traditional song and dance, this exquisite Regency production will be presented in beautiful period costume and is sure to bring a sparkle to the stage.

‘This confident company should be commended for their enthusiastic production’.
