More about XplorActive...
Xploractive is the Environmental Gallery at Mansfield Museum and home of our resident eco-warrior - Eco Dude! Opened in November 2004, the gallery explores the environment in an entertaining and interactive way. In doing so, it suggests how children can make a difference in sustaining and improving the world they live in.
With loads of activities to engage visitors of all ages, why not pay Eco Dude a visit - bend, twist, count, trace, rub, follow, solve and even fish as you learn how to take better care of the environment. Our new and ever-improving XplorActive gallery provides fantastic opportunities for children to learn about their local environment, its history, people and natural features - and what they can do to help preserve it.
