Music impacts our lives, health and wellbeing in different ways, unlocking memories and stimulating conversations. The project Mansfield, Music & Me explores our relationship with music and the memories it creates, from the first single bought to the first dance as a married couple.
As well as two touring exhibitions, a loan box available to hire, with music at the heart of this engagement, for enjoyment, reminiscence and community participation. We have been fortunate that local residents have donated many of the items found within the loan box and exhibitions, and we thank them for their contributions and the memories that come with them.
The two touring exhibitions will be visiting seven local libraries* within the Mansfield area looking at The Evolution of Music Technology and 1970s Music. Below are the locations and dates of these touring exhibitions. Why not pop in and take a look?

Tea and cake, free craft activities, reminiscence objects and photographs and lots of friendly volunteers to chat to!

Every month you will get the opportunity to have a go at a variety of different activities and get advice about how you and your family can lead a healthier lifestyle.
Join us at the first Feel Good Friday on Friday 27 January at 11am. This first free session will include a chance to try some healthy food and meet the team running the activities over the coming year.
