White Hart Supplementary Planning Document
The White Hart SPD sets out detailed guidance to manage change and re-development in the White Hart area of Mansfield Town Centre.
We have been seeking to bring forward regeneration proposals for the White Hart Area of Mansfield for a number of years. The purpose of this Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) is to guide the design of any future regeneration proposals and the determination of planning applications within the White Hart area.

Supplementary Planning Documents (SPD's) are non-statutory documents which are used to provide detailed guidance on specific policies from the a development plan (either the Local Plan or Local Development Framework documents). They cover a range of issues, both thematic and site specific, expanding upon policy or providing further detail on policies.
SPD's form a material consideration when determining planning applications. However, they are not subject to independent examination and do not form part of the development plan. The social, economic and environmental impacts of SPD's are assessed through a Sustainability Appraisal (SA).
