Note: To use these keys
For the Windows-based platform: if the browser is Netscape/Mozilla etc, hold down the 'Alt' key and press the assigned key on the keyboard; if the browser is Internet Explorer, do the same as for Netscape, but also press the 'enter' key to navigate to a page.
For the Macintosh platform, hold down the left-hand 'Control' and press the assigned key on the keyboard. (eg. Control-1 navigates to the home page.)
Listen to our Site
We have provided free access to BrowseAloud software that reads back the content of our web pages to you. A voice reads out the words as you point your cursor to the text on the screen.
The software is useful for people with a visual impairment or those who have difficulty reading English.
To use BrowseAloud click the icon from the top right hand side of the web page
.
Select the text to be read out and press the play button on the pop-up control panel.
Text Size
To increase or decrease the size of the text on our pages press one of the 
letters near the top of the page. The small A changes the text back to its default size.
Contrast Settings
To change the colours of the pages press one of the 
letters near the top of the page.
The colour options are:
Black Text on a White Background (Default colour scheme)
White Text on a Black Background
Black Text on a Yellow Background
Yellow Text on a Black Background
Black Text on a Blue Background
