Selling to the Council
We spend around £40Million a year on a varied range of works, services and goods. If you would like to know more about how companies sell things to us, please look at the Selling to the Council Guide.
You can also find out more about our future requirements and current contracting opportunities on the online web portal Source Nottinghamshire.
We use Constructionline as our method for selecting contractors and consultants to tender / quote for construction and related projects up to the EU works threshold, in accordance with our Contract Procedure Rules
We have a procurement strategy which tells the public, suppliers, councillors and staff how we buy our works, services and goods.
The rules (which are also subject to compliance with statutory requirements such as EU Regulations and the Public Contracts Regulations 2006) governing how money is spent can be found in our Contract Procedure Rules.
We have an Equalities Guidance for Contractors and Suppliers document for contractors and suppliers to help them do business with Mansfield District Council.
Please see our Contract Tables to view the contracts let within the last three years.
Please see our Terms and Conditions of contract for the supply of goods and services to Mansfield District Council.
Contractors and suppliers are advised that Mansfield District Council is required to publish all new items of local government spending exceeding £500.
