The Business Place - discover your true potential
Mansfield District Council's business centres have seen a variety of new businesses taking up units at The Business Place facilities across the District.
Recent tenants include a clock restorer, a handyman business, an outdoor pursuits company, a home care service and a national sports governing body.

The units, which offer all-inclusive rents, are available on easy-in and easy-out terms. Free business support is also included, which allows new businesses to concentrate on growth.
All four Business Centres are positioned at the heart of a Mansfield community. They are:
- Armstrong Hall, Bull Farm
- Langford Road, Ladybrook
- Park Road, Mansfield Woodhouse
- Burns Lane, Warsop
The network of offices and workshops offers companies affordable and flexible space on an all-inclusive, monthly basis. Typically the offices are large enough for two to three people and are ideal for those businesses looking for their first business premises.
Cllr Kate Allsop, Portfolio Holder for Economic Regeneration at Mansfield District Council said: "We know that there are many people out there with great ideas or tiny operations they may be running from home that have the potential to make good, profitable, sustainable businesses. The Business Place facilities aim to unearth them, nurture them and help them on to bigger and better things. The variety of the businesses currently using these facilities demonstrate the fantastic, diverse and entrepreneurial business activity we have in the area."
