Celebrating Summer in the Streets
Things will be hotting up with the return of Mansfield's free annual festival Summer in the Streets from 21 July to 30 August.
Packed with a range of exciting entertainment and activities, this year's programme promises to offer something for everyone.
Feel the sand between your toes with the return of Mansfield's famous beach, or clown around with the Circus Skills workshop. Decorate a hat, conquer the climbing wall, or take a look at some tricky cyclists. These are just some of the great attractions on offer in the Market Place during this festival of fun.

Saturday 21 July
Circus Skills Workshop
Market Place, 11am - 2pm
Drop in and get clowning around with juggling, diabolos, spinning plates, hoola hoops and more!
Monday 23 July - 28 August
Beach Party
Market Place, 10am - 3pm Daily
Mansfield's famous beach party is back! With a giant sand play area and fairground rides, summer will be coming to Mansfield for a full five weeks!
Tuesday 24 July
On Yer Bike!
Market Place, 11am - 2pm
A comical display with giant stilt walker bikes, unicycles, a penny farthing and even an un-rideable wobbly bike.
Wednesday 25 July
Summer Fun
Market Place, 11am - 3pm
Face painting, balloon modelling and a Hula Hoop competition.
Tuesday 31 July
Punch and Judy
Market Place, 11am - 2pm
Enjoy traditional beach side entertainment with the Punch and Judy show.
Thursday 2 August
Design Olympic Rings
Market Place, 11am - 3pm
Capture the Olympic spirit by designing your own Olympic rings.
Wednesday 8 August
Chalk IT UP!
Market Place, 11am - 3pm
Friday 10 August
Climbing Wall Fun
Market Place 10am - 2pm
Have a go at scaling the 9 1/2 metre climbing wall.
Thursday 16 August
Dancing Bodies
Market Place 11am - 4pm
Be the star of the show when your head is superimposed on to a dancing cartoon type body. Dance and sing along to great music.
Friday 17 August
Hat Decorating and Mask Making
Market Place, 11am - 2pm
Wednesday 22 August
Make Maracas with a Caribbean Twist
Market Place, 11am - 3pm
Children are shown how to make a musical instrument to bring along to the Festival of Fun the following week.
Saturday 25 August
Balancing Circus Workshop

Thursday 30 August
Festival of Fun with a Steel Band
Market Place, 11am - 4pm
Fresh fruit cocktails, limbo and hula hoop competitions, and garlands of flowers.
The Four Seasons Shopping Centre, Mansfield, will be hosting their B:Club workshops on the mall from 11am - 3pm every Monday in the school holidays. All activities at the B:Club Funday Mondays are free and include making sun hats and healthy lunchboxes to take home.
