Weekly weight management classes for people who want to improve their fitness levels and lead healthier lifestyles have started at River Maun Recreation Centre.
The new classes are on Thursdays from 12noon to 1.30pm.
The classes include a weekly weigh and measure, nutritional and healthy lifestyle information and an optional group exercise session to boost metabolism.
The classes are a great way for people to find out more about nutrition, exercise and healthy living. They differ to traditional weight loss clubs as they are not weight loss orientated and focus on giving advice for long term good health.
The sessions are mainly exercise based and can be adapted to suit all ages, abilities and levels of fitness.
The classes are free for all Ultimate Leisure cardholders. Non-members can attend on a pay-as-you-go basis.
