There's something spooky going on at Mansfield's leisure centres
In the week running up to Halloween visitors to Mansfield District Council's leisure centres may notice something a little bit strange going on - such as a werewolf on the treadmill or a ghost on the cross trainer!

Between Monday 24 and Monday 31 October the Council's five leisure centres will be holding hair-raising fitness challenges and giving away some free goodies as part of a Trick or Treat Week. The prizes include a month's free health and fitness membership, two signed t-shirts and signed mouse-mats by great British swimmers, a signed Speedo sports hat by British Champion Diver Nicholas Robinson-Baker, plus much more.
On 31 October staff will be getting in to the Halloween spirit and dressing in a variety of spooky costumes and customers are welcome to do the same.
Also on 31 October, Water Meadows will be holding a Halloween pool party between 7 and 9pm. There will be fancy dress competition at 6.30pm, with prizes to be won. Other activities will also be taking place during the half term week at Water Meadows including a crafts workshop, drama and family aquafit. For details and to book, contact the leisure centre direct or visit www.mansfield.gov.uk/watermeadows .
