Mansfield District Council's Building and Development Control Service offers a one-stop shop approach which can provide details and information about all your planning and building control requirements.

If you have a proposal to discuss, we can arrange for you to meet both the planning and building control teams to give you the best and most up-to-date advice, including information on the smallest extension to the largest commercial or housing developments, along with advice on listed buildings and conservation areas proposals.

Through our general enquiries procedures we can provide advice on whether planning permission and building regulation approval is required for a proposal giving written confirmation.
