Warsop Cemetery
Following an incident in Warsop Cemetery on Saturday 2 July to which the police were called, Mansfield District Council can confirm that a set of cemetery gates, the cemetery wall and gate pillars were demolished.
Unfortunately damage was also made to a small number of graves within the cemetery. The affected graves date from 1935 - 1954 and are all on the drive side border.
The Council is working alongside other professionals to re-instate all areas concerned, however this will take some time.
