Council Budgets and Spending
In response to the Government's commitment to greater transparency, Mansfield District Council is publishing details of all spending with suppliers over £500. This data has been prepared in accordance with the latest guidance from the Local Government Group in collaboration with the Local Public Data Panel (November 2010).
The following files show payments to suppliers greater than £500, excluding VAT, as this is the actual cost to the Council. This information excludes details of payments to individuals such as benefit payments, council tax refunds, employee salaries/wages payments and other transactions which are exempt from publication, eg where the data contains specific sensitive information. Data has been extracted direct from the Council's Financial Management System.
The way in which both the service and expenditure type are described is taken from the Service Reporting Code of Practice (SeRCOP) as provided by the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA).
The first file includes all data for the financial year 2010/2011. Additional files for 2011/2012 will be published on a monthly basis.
