Managing Director Delegated Decisions
As well as Councillors making delegated decisions on behalf on the Council, chief officers such as the Managing Director are also delegated with powers to take certain decisions. A supporting report written by Council officers forms the basis for all decisions taken within the Council. If you would like to take a look at any of the supporting reports (excluding any exempt information) please contact Democratic Services.

The Council's Constitution authorises the Managing Director to take decisions on certain matters which are outlined in the Scheme of Delegations to Officers. Part 3 of the Constitution details those matters so delegated to the Managing Director to provide for effective and transparent decision making.
Any key decision proposed to be taken by the Managing Director must appear on the Council's Forward Plan and must be accompanied by a written report.
The decisions of the Managing Director appear to the right of this page.
