Neighbourhood wardens Community Safety
The Community Safety Section strives to reduce crime and disorder in the district so that local people are safe, feel safe and are able to live in peace in a clean and pleasant environment and don't have to tolerate antisocial behaviour in their neighbourhood. In addition, the service ensures that the local authority fulfills its responsibilities and duties under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998 (as amended) and considers the impact of all its services on community safety.

Mansfield Volunteer Awards 2013
The annual Mansfield Volunteer Awards celebrates the achievement of volunteers and the voluntary sector in the Mansfield District. The Awards are organised by a steering group of tenants and residents who volunteer themselves, with support from officers from Mansfield District Council and Mansfield Community & Voluntary Service (CVS).
