Tenancy and estate management
Housing is a key service for many households throughout Mansfield. The quality of their housing and the environment in which they live in is very important to most people and can have a major impact on their quality of life. Tenancy and estate management is a term used to describe a wide range of services relating to the management of housing and surrounding neighbourhood. Any matter, which can impact upon a resident's quiet enjoyment of their home or the environment in which they live, can be described as a tenancy or estate management issue. The service aims to deliver an effective and robust tenancy and estate management service by taking all necessary steps to ensure that tenants adhere to their tenancy obligations and by providing advice to tenants and other service users regarding their rights and responsibilities and the standards of service they can expect to receive.
Rent collection and arrears recovery

However, we recognise that sometimes you may struggle to make ends meet, that is why we want to try and help you before you get into arrears.
The most important thing is to contact us as soon as possible. The sooner we know that you have problems, the easier it is for us to help. For further advice or assistance with rent payments contact your local housing office listed on the right hand side of this page.
