Your chance to see the next big thing!
Thursday 19th July
Summer in the Streets continues in Mansfield town centre at the weekend with a 'Spotlight on Local Talent' in the market place.

The full day of local bands kicks off on Saturday 21st July at 12.30pm with acoustic acts, including The Loved Ones, Rutherfords and Ben Haynes taking to the stage throughout the afternoon.
The music gets a little heavier in the evening, with sets from Tender Hooks and the Dirty Cherubs among others before Mansfield headliners Vespa round off the evening at 8.45pm.
Also on Saturday, Rex Boyd, comedian juggler and Bernie Bennet, a three-headed stilt-walking alien will be entertaining visitors with separate shows during the day.
Previous performances in the town centre have drawn in big crowds this year. Music and Performing Arts students from West Notts College demonstrated their talents on Saturday 23rd June before Doctor and the Medics entertained the crowds during a break in the rain. And the week of Schools in the Streets saw children from schools across the district singing, playing music and dancing in the market place.
With bands from all over Nottinghamshire coming to perform, this is a great chance to see some of the best local talent in the county.
