The review of polling districts and polling places was necessary to meet the needs of electors in new wards that the Boundary Commission introduced.  These new wards came into effect at the 5th May 2011 elections. The formal notice of the review can be viewed by clicking on the icon on the right of the screen.  You can also view the new ward maps and polling places on the right hand side of the screen. You will need to scroll down to view all 36 wards.

The review included a Consultation Period where the people eligible to vote in the Mansfield District were encouraged to submit their views. Organisations who have particular expertise in relation to access to premises or facilities for people who have disabilities were also contacted to submit their views during the consultation period.

The Review was completed on 14th December 2010 when the Council gave its final recommendations, the reasons for its decisions and published all representations made by any person in connection with the review in its final report which can be viewed by clicking on the link on your right.

The Boundary Commission's single-member ward review details and their final recommendations can be viewed via the link to their website.
