Listening to what you have to say
It is important for the Council to have opportunities to listen to what residents have to say about the services that we provide in all our neighbourhoods across the district. The Community Engagement team co-ordinates a number of activities such as focus groups, surveys and panels to make sure that we keep in touch.
The Community Engagement team links customer opinion with service providers to try and ensure that customers' views are heard and where possible acted upon.
The Council's Citizens' Panel responds to three regular surveys each year and members are invited to specific focus groups to discuss what we do for our residents in more depth.
Tenant and Resident Participation are groups who have at least two council tenants on their committee and they look at local housing and neighbourhood issues.

Listening to your views about the issues which matter to you
We are continually listening and talking to residents in the District on issues that affect your everyday lives. There are a number of ways we do this, some of which include:

- Informal discussion groups
- Telephone surveys
- Postal surveys
- Street interviews
We highly value the information that we collect and are grateful to those who take part. It helps us to find out what the residents of Mansfield think about the things we do and in particular where you think we can improve.
