SUMMARY OF REASONS FOR DECISION
The proposed non-material amendment to reposition the building as shown on Drawing no. 013/P/002 Rev B, received 12/03/2012, accords with the objectives of Saved Policies BE1, LT6 and M16 [28/09/2007] of the Adopted Mansfield District Local Plan 1998, meeting the relevant objectives and criteria. The amended development will not cause a detrimental impact upon the character and appearance of the street scene and the surroundings in general, result in the loss of allotment gardens, or impact upon highway safety, and there are no other material considerations that indicate that a decision should be taken at variance with the above policy or guidance.
SUMMARY OF RELEVANT POLICES
Mansfield District Local Plan Saved Policy BE1 - Advises planning permission will be granted for developments which achieve a high standard of design, listing four sets of criteria.
Mansfield District Local Plan Saved Policy LT6 - Advises planning permission will not be granted for developments which would lead to the loss of allotment gardens unless certain criteria are met.
Mansfield District Local Plan Saved Policy M16 – Advises planning permission will be granted for new developments provided proposals meet 6 sets of criteria in respect of transport / movement issues.
