The council will launch a new sign-in customer portal to improve access to services in spring 2018.

The system has been built in-house to encourage more residents to self-serve and do more online transactions with the authority. The portal is one of the first major developments emerging from the council's Digital Transformation Strategy.

It will be available from the homepage www.mansfield.gov.uk and all online customers will be encouraged to set up and access an account every time they visit.

The benefit of creating an account is tailored content. Your account will contain all the information you need including bin collection days, ward councillor details, Council Tax information and in the future you will be able to see your balances, payments and outstanding amounts in one place. 

Councillor Stewart Rickersey, Portfolio Holder for Corporate Services said:

"The portal will bring Mansfield District Council into the 21st Century and will give customers real time, direct interaction with essential front line services. We need residents to help us test the portal before it goes live next year. Please sign up to become part of our testing pool by emailing publicrelations@mansfield.gov.uk by 24 November."
