Street trading controls

Street trading is defined as the selling, exposing or offering for sale of any article, including living things, in a street. A street includes any place where the public have unrestricted access.

We do not operate a consent scheme in Mansfield. However we do have a list of streets where street trading is prohibited.

Street traders are able to operate throughout the district without requiring consent, providing that they are not on one of the pdf icon prohibited streets [1Mb] and do not cause a risk to other road users.
