SUMMARY OF REASONS FOR DECISION
The proposal is in accordance with Saved Policy BE9 [28/09/2007] of the adopted Mansfield District Local Plan 1998. The cutting back of the tree would not in the opinion of the Local Planning Authority harm the character and appearance of The Park Conservation Area. It is not considered that there are any other material planning considerations to be taken into account that would warrant a decision at variance with the above
SUMMARY OF RELEVANT POLICES
Saved Policy BE9 – Planning Permission will not be granted for developments which would lead to the removal of features in conservation areas such as walls, trees, hedges, open spaces and fences where such features contribute towards the character of the area.
