What do we do?

Our CCTV Operators work closely with the Neighbourhood Wardens and the police in an attempt to reduce and prevent crime and disorder throughout the district.

Last year alone, CCTV responded to 5,545 incidents in the Mansfield and surrounding areas. A total of 772 arrests were made, those arrests were all down to diligence and many years of experience that our team have accrued.

They follow strict legislation and adhere to the CCTV code of practice which is government endorsed.

Our newly refurbished control room now provides the capacity for more cameras, which operate on our new wireless system. At present we monitor around 160 cameras.

We view and capture live incidents; and if required, pass on this information to the police headquarters through a dedicated telephone line. We also have the facility to transfer images to the police, providing them with the live information they need to despatch a measured response.

Our team work a 24 hour shift pattern, 365 days a year, ensuring safer communities for all. Our operators are highly skilled; all are accredited with at least a public space CCTV level 2 award in surveillance and all possess an SIA licence; a scheme governed by the Home Office.

Keeping the district and your business safe

We are also now able to offer local businesses and other authorities a unique opportunity to be a part of our success, ensuring property, work places, schools and the people of Mansfield and surrounding areas are safe. We achieve great results monitoring business premises and responding to alarm activations and our high definition cameras provide exceptional quality images should the footage be required for evidential purposes.

If you are interested in CCTV for your business, please contact us on the below details and we will arrange for you to visit our Control room, which will allow for a better insight and understanding of the work we do.
